I completed my Undergraduate Degree at S.U.N.Y. Albany, and my dental training at Fairleigh Dickenson University’s College of Dental Medicine in Hackensack, NJ. I graduated with honors in 1986. I then studied cosmetic dentistry under Dr. Ross Nash at the Nash Institute for Dental Learning in Charlotte, NC, and am an active member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Since beginning my sole proprietorship in 1997, I have completed thousands of hours in continuing education courses while learning all types of dental treatments. I average ten full days of continuing education each year. The classes and courses I take involve subjects in Oral Implantology, Endodontics, Periodontics, Orthodontics, Cosmetic Restorations, Oral Rehabilitation and Sleep Apnea. The materials we use are improving every day, and it is my obligation to be aware of the latest procedures, materials, and equipment available.
After over 30 years of helping people, my dentistry continues to improve every day. My enjoyment at providing dentistry increases every year as the technology and equipment available improve. This gives me the ability to help patients I could not help before. I can do dentistry faster, more efficiently, and more comfortably than ever before. I love dentistry because my job allows me to improve lives by removing pain and restoring confidence and self-esteem! When a patient leaves me with a relieved smile, it always makes my day, and I am grateful for what I do.
I am always striving to bridge the gap between oral health and general health by educating local physicians about the connection between oral health and how it can affect the total health of their patients. I also represent the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine by educating local physicians about the role the dental professional have in treating patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
